things every mom should have!

Throughout this passed year I have come in contact with more baby products than I ever thought, with just one baby. I thought about all the great products I have tried, or really Ashlyn has tried. I narrowed down my list to the best things I think every mom should have, or at least try. It may be different with your child. =)

Mustela Baby Shampoo: I had no idea baby's hair needs a different pH of soap than just baby body wash. Needless to say she got cradle cap real bad. And I was told to try this. It does a really good job of keeping the cradle cap to a minimum. And it smells REALLY good! (found at Babysrus)

Aveeno Body Lotion: Ashlyn has really sensitive skin. I tried Method and other real natural lotions. This one was the only one to keep her skin looking baby soft and without rash. Love it!

LeapFrog Play Table: Amazing toy. The baby can lay under it, sit and play with it, and stand and push the buttons and knobs. So fun! Even my 4 and 6 year old niece and nephew love it. Def. worth having! And the songs don't get annoying. They change so often, and really it's not that loud!
Happy Baby: I totally recommend you trying one of the yummy pouches. Market Basket has these as low at $.80. Not bad! And they are organic. Ashlyn can self feed herself with them too. AMAZING!! (oh and this one has spinach, and Ashlyn loves it!) Great for the park or when you need to give them a quick snack.
Munchkin brand Sippy Cup: THE BEST SIPPY CUP EVER!! No leaking, ever... not even a drip. The first sippy cup I found that she can finish the entire thing! (Wal-mart has them really cheap, less than $3!!)

Halo SleepSack: Allows the baby to sleep comfortably without always having to make sure he/she is covered with a blanket. It's like a baby sleeping bag. Ashlyn used one all winter. Great for those cold nights. She couldn't move in them too, until she got bigger and could move in anything, so I never worried about her. And they have sizes all the way up to toddler! Great investment! ($20 ea. at Babysrus, or you can wait for a sale, I know they have sales on them all the time)
