I remember the song...it was Loud n Clear, from TobyMac's latest album, Tonight. Such a great song. Ashlyn loves the part when the little 3 year old brother talks. You'll have to listen to it.
Here's a link to the song...

her new thing.
She started clapping yesterday, May 18th, when I had the music turned up a bit. I wish I could recall the song though, hmm. What a wonderful milestone. I of course have to get her to do it for the camera.

blessings...
We had a week, a few weeks back that was rough. She had her 9 month appointment (with her new dr. up here) and realized just how small she is. She weighed in at 12lbs 4oz. The dr. suggested to have some blood drawn to check her Thyroid and other levels. All thankfully were good. We do still have to see a Nutritionist/GI specialist to make sure they just aren't missing anything. It was really funny because although she weighed in at 12lbs 4oz on her 9 month appointment we went in that friday, so only 5ish days later and she weighed 12lbs 12oz. Obviously she's growing. And may be now well over 14 pounds. That's if our scale is right. I can tell she's filled out a lot in the last few weeks. Lots of yogurt, higher fat foods, and really just more calories each meal has helped with that. So really, I think she's fine. It's true about the mom instinct. I would know if she wasn't eating enough, or wasn't feeling well. She honestly has been so healthy I can't even imagine anything would be wrong with her.
I also had my first Mother's Day! What a great joy it is to be a Mom. I felt very much loved on that day, and is thankful for a family who treats me well on all the other days too! Just nice to know there's a day to think about all the things our mom's do for us. Thank you MOM for the great example you were and still are! I love you!
Well...I'm trying to think of anything else I need to write here. She's just been such an amazing baby, I guess I feel blessed to have her in our lives. "God truely must have spent a little more time on her..."
